What Pathogens Are Included?

These three bacteria are the primary drivers of non-gonococcal urethritis (NGU), pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), and general genital discomfort. They frequently co-infect, meaning testing for just one often leaves the patient partially untreated.

1. Chlamydia (CT)

The "silent" STI. Highly contagious but frequently presents with zero symptoms until severe reproductive damage occurs.

2. Gonorrhea (NG)

A highly symptomatic bacterial infection known for causing thick discharge and severe burning during urination.

3. Ureaplasma (UU)

An atypical, cell-wall-less bacterium. It frequently causes persistent, minor burning sensations even after standard STI treatments are completed.

Multiplex Testing Window

CT & NG (Fast-growing)

Detectable via NAAT within 5 to 7 days.

Ureaplasma (Slow-growing)

Detectable via NAAT within 14 to 21 days.

*For absolute certainty across all three pathogens, testing 14 days post-exposure is optimal.

When to Choose this Combo

  • You have had a new sexual partner and want a comprehensive baseline screening.
  • You are experiencing unexplained burning, discharge, or pelvic discomfort.
  • Your partner tested positive for an STI, and you need to rule out co-infections.

Single Sample Requirement

All 3 tests are processed from one single specimen collection.

Men: First-Catch Urine

No painful urethral swabs are required. You must hold your urine for at least 1 to 2 hours prior to your visit. Collect only the first 20-30 ml of the urine stream.

Women: Vaginal Swab

A vaginal swab provides superior DNA recovery for all three targets. Do not utilize vaginal douches or medications for 24 hours prior.
